ব্রিগেডের মাঠ মানেই রাজনৈতিক দলের স্লোগান আর ব্যারিকেডের ভিড়ে দলীয় কর্মীদের একরাশ প্রত্যাশা। কিন্তু সেই চেনা চিত্রের বাইরে ময়দান মাঠ দেখল রক্তদাতাদের উৎসাহ। ১৪ বিশ্ব রক্তদাতা দিবস উপলক্ষে কফি হাউস স্যোশাল সার্ভিস অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের পক্ষ থেকে ব্রিগেড মাঠে আয়োজিত হল রক্তদান উৎসব। ঐতিহাসিক ব্রিগেড প্যারেড গ্রাউন্ড, যাকে স্বাধীনতা পরবর্তী বাংলার রাজনৈতিক আন্দোলনের প্রাণকেন্দ্র বলা হয় সেই মাঠেই করোনা পরবর্তী সময় থেকে রক্তদান উৎসব আয়োজিত হচ্ছে। বিপর্যয়ের পৃথিবীতে করোনা মহামারির সময় এমন উপযুক্ত পরিবেশে ২০২০ থেকে রক্তদান করে আসছে এই সংগঠন বলে শুক্রবার জানালেন সভাপতি অচিন্ত লাহা। এদিন প্রায় ১০০ জন রক্তদাতা রক্তদান করেছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন তিনি।

মাতৃরূপেণ’। ছবিটি গত ১৫-৬-২০২৪ তারিখে ‘ নন্দন ‘ এ মুক্তি পেয়েছে । মুক্তিময়ী ফিল্মস নিবেদিত ‘ মাতৃরূপেণ ‘ ছবিটি দুটি গল্প নিয়ে তৈরি হয়েছে।প্রথম গল্পটির নাম ‘অপরাজিতা ‘ । এই সমাজে কন্যা সন্তানের ভূমিকা নিয়ে লেখিকা তার লেখনী ধরেছেন এবং প্রতিবাদে সোচ্চার হয়েছেন কন্যা ভ্রূন হত্যার বিরুদ্ধে ।

এই ছবির সময়সীমা চল্লিশ মিনিট, পরের ছবি ‘ শ্রীচরণেষু মা ‘ এই ছবিটি দেড় ঘন্টার।পরিচালক ডাঃ সুমিতা সাহা তার মা শ্রীমতী মুক্তিময়ী সাহার জীবনের গল্প নিয়ে চিত্রনাট্য তৈরি করেছেন। মুক্তিময়ী দেবীর বয়স এখন ৮৬ বছর । এই সিনেমাটিতে দেখানো হয়েছে নানা প্রতিকূলতার মধ্যে দিয়ে কিভাবে প্রথাগত শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত না হয়েও স্বামীর সহযোগিতায় তিনি বাড়িতেই লেখাপড়া শিখে প্রচুর কবিতা লিখেছেন এবং প্রচুর জ্ঞান অর্জন করেছেন । অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম করে ছেলেমেয়েদের মানুষ করেছেন। তাদের লেখাপড়া , গান , গিটার , সবকিছু শিখিয়েছেন । সৃষ্টি করেছেন এক অমূল্য কবিতার সম্ভার ‘একগুচ্ছ কবিতা ‘ । ২০১১ সালে তার লেখা ‘একগুচ্ছ কবিতা ‘ বইটি প্রকাশিত হয় ।

আজ এক জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে দুই সঙ্গীত নির্দেশক সুধীর দত্ত ও শিবু সোম, সঙ্গীত শিল্পী রূপরেখা ব্যানার্জি, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের অর্থ বিভাগের দুই যুগ্ম আযুক্ত অনুপম হালদার ও পাঞ্চালি মুন্সীর উপস্থিতিতে কল্যাণীর বুকে পথ চলা শুরু করল ‘স্বপ্নপূরণ’।

‘স্বপ্নপূরণ’-এর উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের প্রাক্কালে সংস্থার কর্ণধার তথা রাগ প্রধান সঙ্গীতের বিশেষজ্ঞ শিল্পী রাখী দত্ত দেব সংবাদমাধ্যমকে জানিয়েছেন, “১৭ বছর সঙ্গীত শিক্ষাদানের অভিজ্ঞতা নিয়ে কল্যাণীতে খোলা হল ‘স্বপ্নপূরণ’।

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থেকে আর এক সঙ্গীত শিল্পী রূপরেখা ব্যানার্জি বলেছেন, “আশা করি এই সঙ্গীত শিক্ষায়তন কল্যাণীর সঙ্গীত শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গীত শেখার উপযোগী প্রতিষ্ঠান রূপে কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই পরিচিতি লাভ করবে।”

নৃত্যের তালে তালে সমগ্র অডিটোরিয়ামে যেন কাঁপন লেগেছিল,সবার মনে যেন আনন্দেরই সাগর হতে বান এসেছিল।

Kolkata, June 7, 2024 Seventy-year-old Mr Dulal Dutta was discharged within five days after the removal of renal tumour through Robotic Radical Nephrectomy with Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) Thrombectomy. The size of his kidney had increased to 12 cm x 7 cm x 6 cm (the normal size of a human kidney is about 10cm x 5cm x 3 cm) due to the growth of a malignant tumour that measured 6cm x 5.5cm x 5cm and a 3cm tumour thrombus in the Inferior Vena Cava – IVC (which is the largest vein in the body) leading to obstruction of the blood flow.

Mr Duttas family approached the clinicians at Apollo Cancer Centres (ACC), Kolkata, and inquired about the options of treatment in such cases. They were being offered open surgery for this tumour by all other cancer centres in and around Kolkata. However, Mr Dutta’s family was looking for a minimally invasive alternative.

The team led by Dr Tarun Jindal, Senior Consultant, Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgeon, Apollo Cancer Centres, Kolkata, conducted the complex procedure and successfully removed the tumour from the kidney and the IVC through Robotic approach. The advanced robotic platform used in the procedure offered unparalleled benefits including improved visualization and magnification, allowing surgeons to precisely locate even the smallest tumour implants. The minimally invasive technique significantly reduced blood loss to just 100cc, compared to the 500-600cc typically seen in open surgeries. This unprecedented technique, which is Eastern Indias first, marks an important advancement in the field of uro-oncology and robotic oncology. Mr. Dutta, the cancer winner, who had pre-existing renal failure, hypertension, diabetes, was discharged in just four days post-surgery. This is a testament to the efficacy and precision of the robotic procedure, which involved a smaller-incisions measuring 8mm each compared to the approximately 30cm cut required in traditional open surgery. The minimally invasive robotic approach also resulted in less pain, reduced need for analgesics, quicker return of bowel function, and an earlier discharge, enabling the patient to return to normal life more swiftly.

এদিন অরিন্দমবাবু বলেন, সঠিকভাবে প্রশিক্ষণের জন্য এই উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে যাতে ছাত্র ছাত্রীরা শিখে উপযুক্ত প্লেসমেন্ট পায়।
