প্রতিদিন অফিস যাওয়া, অফিসের পর বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে কোনও গেট টুগেদার, সপ্তাহান্তে পাবে পার্টি-সার্টি, উইকএন্ডে টুক করে একটা লং ড্রাইভ, এছাড়া আত্মীয়স্বজন,বন্ধুবান্ধদের বাড়িতে হোমপার্টি, অনুষ্ঠান তো লেগেই থাকে– এসব জায়গায় একটা কিছু গলিয়ে নিলেও হয় না আবার খুব সাজলেও চলে না! একটা মাঝামাঝি ফ্যাশন-স্টেটমেন্ট বজায় রাখতে হিমশিম খায় প্রায় সব মেয়ে। কী পরা উচিৎ, আলমারির সামনে ঘন্টার পর ঘন্টা দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে অনেক মেয়েই! দিশা খুঁজে পায় না। এবার তাদের দিশা দেখাতে ফ্যাশন ডিজাইনার স্রোতস্বিনী মজুমদার নিয়ে এলেন নতুন সম্ভার “সিক্সচিক”।

‘সিক্সচিক’ সম্ভারে থাকছে ভ্যারাইটি রেঞ্জ। অফিস থেকে পার্টি, ফ্যাশনে আপনি নজরে পড়বেন। ঐতিহ্যের সঙ্গে আধুনিকতার যুগলবন্দি হল এই ‘সিক্সচিক’। এখানে জাম্পস্যুট থেকে শুরু করে শর্ট ড্রেস সব কিছুই পাবেন। রঙে, বিন্যাসে, ডিজাইনে ফ্যাশন দুনিয়ায় এক নব সংযোজন এই ‘সিক্সচিক’। স্রোতস্বিনীর কথায়, “নানা রকম অকেশন আমাদের লেগেই থাকে, কিন্তু কী পরব বুঝে উঠতে পারি না, এই ক্যাজুয়াল মিটিং গুলোকে ফ্যাশনবেল করতেই আমার এই নতুন কালেকশন।”

‘সিক্সচিক’এর পোশাক সম্ভার মেয়েদের যেমন আরাম দেয়, তেমনি এনে দেয় আত্মবিশ্বাস। অনেক সময় নানা রকম ফ্যাশন ম্যাগাজিনে মডেলদের বা সেলিব্রেটিদের ফ্যাশন দেখে নিজেদের ওই রকম ভাবে সাজাতে ইচ্ছে করে। কিন্তু দামের জন্য ইচ্ছেতে লাগাম পড়াতে হয়। ‘সিক্সচিক’ এবার সেই ইচ্ছেপূরনের ডাক দিয়েছে। কম খরচে আপনিও হয়ে উঠুন ফ্যাশন-ডিভা!

Kolkata, 4th February 2025: Apollo Cancer Centres, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Indian Cancer Society, and Family Physician Associations, launches a nationwide campaign–Unify to Notify–on World Cancer Day. The campaign urges the Government of India to classify cancer as a notifiable disease, a much-needed critical step for combating the menace of the disease

India currently reports over 14 lakhs new cancer cases annually, with the number expected to rise to 15.7 lakhs by 2025. Designating cancer as a notifiable disease will:

Ensure real-time data collection and accurate reporting, thereby establishing a clearer picture of the disease’s scale.

Develop standardized treatment protocols through epidemiological analysis and targeted intervention strategies.

Will enhance, accuracy, efficiency and accessibility in cancer treatment ultimately strengthening India’s role in global oncology research and care

In 2022, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare submitted a report to the Rajya Sabha recommending cancer be classified as a notifiable disease. Through this initiative, the industry experts are hoping that the Government of India take the next logical move which is to pass this Bill in both the Upper and Lower Houses in the upcoming budget session.

Dr Sandip Mukhopadhyay, Scientist E (Medical), ICMR- NIRBI, said, “The ICMR supports the notification of cancer as it will provide us with crucial epidemiological data needed for evidence-based policymaking. Our current estimates of cancer burden in India are based on limited data. Mandatory reporting will give us accurate insights into cancer patterns, helping us design better prevention strategies and allocate research funding more effectively.”

Dr. Arunabha Sengupta, Hony. Secretary of Indian Cancer Society, Kolkata, said, “The Indian Cancer Society stands firmly with this initiative to make cancer a notifiable disease. This step will bridge the current gaps in our cancer surveillance system and enable better coordination between various healthcare providers. Apollo Cancer Centres has been at the forefront of providing comprehensive cancer care, and we believe that the notification of cancer will enable all of us to further enhance the services towards better cancer care. By making cancer a notifiable disease, we can ensure that all cancer cases are reported and documented, enabling us to track cancer incidence, mortality, and survival rates.”

Dr Gopal Chand Gulgulia – President, and Dr R.K. Jalan – Executive Member – Family Physician Association, Calcutta, said, “Making cancer notifiable will revolutionize our understanding of cancer patterns at the state level. It will help us identify regional variations in cancer types and risk factors, leading to more targeted prevention programs. Apollo Cancer Centres has established a network of cancer centres across the country, which will play a critical role in collecting and analyzing cancer data at the state level. By analyzing cancer data at the state level, we can identify areas with high cancer incidence and develop targeted interventions to address these disparities.”

Dr P. N. Mohapatra, Director Medical Oncology, Apollo Cancer Centre, Kolkata, said, “Making cancer a notifiable disease is a transformative step that will revolutionize how we approach cancer care in India. With proper documentation of every cancer case, we can better understand patterns, allocate resources efficiently, and develop targeted treatment protocols. At Apollo Cancer Centres, we have already established a robust cancer registry, which has enabled us to track cancer trends and outcomes. We are now seeking the invaluable support of industry experts and urge the Government of India to pass this Bill in both the Upper and Lower Houses, to enable better cancer care and research across India.”

Dr Jibak Bhattacharyya , Consultant, Radiation Oncology, Apollo Cancer Centre, Kolkata, emphasized, “Classifying cancer as a notifiable disease will be a game-changer in improving early detection and treatment outcomes. Comprehensive cancer data will allow us to identify high-risk regions, streamline patient management, and enhance research efforts. This step will ultimately lead to more precise, timely, and effective cancer care for patients across India.”

The ‘Unify to Notify’ campaign represents a yeoman step towards transforming cancer care in India and identifying cancer as a notifiable disease, where every cancer case counts, every patient matters, and no data point is lost in the journey towards better cancer care in India.

While 15 states, including Haryana, Karnataka, Tripura, West Bengal, Punjab, Mizoram, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, and Rajasthan, have already made cancer a notifiable disease, nationwide implementation remains a necessity. Globally, over 12 countries including the US, England and Wales, Scotland, Denmark, Nordic countries, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and The Gambia, have recognised the importance of mandatory cancer reporting.

কলকাতা, 4th February, 2025: উইলিয়াম শেকসপিয়র বলেছিলেন,” এই পুরো বিশ্ব একটি নাট্যমঞ্চ, নারী ও পুরুষ স্রেফ অভিনয় করে যাচ্ছে সেখানে”। মেডিকা সুপার স্পেশালিটি হসপিটাল (মনিপাল হসপিটাল গ্রুপের একটি অংশ) একদম অন্য ভাবে পালন করল বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবস। মেডিকা সকল ক্যান্সারজয়ীদের সুযোগ দিল নিজেদের জীবনের লড়াইয়ের কথা তুলে ধরার জন্য – নিজের লড়াইকে সামনের এগিয়ে নিয়ে অসাধারণ পারফরম্যান্স করে দেখানো।

আজ অর্থাৎ বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবসে মেডিকা সুপার স্পেশালিটি হসপিটাল আয়োজন করেছিল ক্যান্সার সারভাইভার মিট, যেখানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন চন্দন সেন, খ্যাতনামা নাট্য অভিনেতা, প্রফেসর (ডঃ) সুবীর গাঙ্গুলি, সিনিয়র কনসালটেন্ট, এডভাইজার, রেডিয়েশন অনকোলজি; ডঃ সৌরভ দত্ত, ডিরেক্টর, মেডিকা অনকোলজি এবং সিনিয়র কনসালটেন্ট, হেড এবং নেক অঙ্কো সার্জারি; ডঃ অভয় কুমার, সিনিয়র কনসালটেন্ট এবং বিভাগীয় প্রধান (ইউরোলজি, সার্জিক্যাল অনকোলজি, রোবটিক সার্জারি), ডঃ অরুণাভ রায়, সিনিয়র কনসালটেন্ট এবং বিভাগীয় প্রধান, গাইনিকোলজিক অনকোলজি এবং রোবটিক সার্জারি।

প্রেক্ষাগৃহ জুড়ে একসাথে করতালি হয় যখন ক্যানসারজয়ীরা, তাদের পরিবার ও ডাক্তাররা একসাথে এসে লড়াই, আশা ও শক্তির কথা তুলে ধরেন। কোন ক্যানসারজয়ী, অভিনয়ের ক্ষেত্রে ইচ্ছে রয়েছে, তারা যোগদান করতে পারেন ওয়ার্কশপের মধ্যে, যার নেতৃত্বে থাকবেন খ্যাতনামা নাট্যকার চন্দন সেন। এই যোদ্ধারা মঞ্চের মধ্যে তাদের লড়াইকে পারফর্ম করবেন। বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবসে ক্যান্সারজয়ীরা শুধুমাত্র বেঁচে থাকবে না, তার সাথে লাইট, স্টেজ, অ্যাকশন এর মধ্যে জ্বলজ্বল করবেন।

ক্যান্সারের প্রভাব খুব গভীর এবং দীর্ঘমেয়াদি। তবুও অন্ধকার সময়ে , মানুষ আলোর পথে সুস্থ হওয়ার পথ খুঁজে নেয়। বেঁচে থাকার লড়াইতে শুধু ক্যান্সারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই নয়, এছাড়া ইমোশনাল এবং সাইকোলজিক্যাল বাধা পেরিয়ে এগানো। বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবস ২০২৫ ‘ইউনাইটেড বাই ইউনিক’ ক্যাম্পেনের প্রথম ধাপ অনুসারে ক্যান্সার কেয়ারের ক্ষেত্রে মানুষ ভিত্তিক পদক্ষেপ এটি। বলাই বাহুল্য, এটি অনেকটাই পরিবর্তন কিভাবে স্বাস্থ্য এবং ক্যান্সার সার্ভিসের সব ডিজাইন এবং ডেলিভারি হয় – যেভাবে মানুষ, পরিবার, কমিউনিটি কিভাবে হেলথ সিস্টেম এর মধ্যে থাকে।

ইন্ডিয়ান কাউন্সিল অফ মেডিক্যাল রিসার্চ (আইসিএমআর) এর তথ্য অনুসারে এই বছর অর্থাৎ ২০২৫ সালে সারা ভারতে ক্যান্সার আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ১৫.৭ লাখ পৌঁছবে। ২০২২ সালে এই সংখ্যা ছিল ১৪.৬ লাখ। সারা বিশ্বে ক্যান্সার আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ৩৫ মিলিয়ন হবে ২০৫০ সালে। একটি কমিউনিটি তৈরি করার আশু প্রয়োজন যেখানে ক্যান্সারে বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করা মানুষেরা একে অন্যের অভিজ্ঞতা শুনে অনুপ্রাণিত হবেন। এই বিশ্ব ক্যান্সার দিবস মেডিকা চায় এরকম একটি সাপোর্ট নেটওয়ার্ক তৈরি করতে।

প্রফেসর (ডঃ) সুবীর গাঙ্গুলি, সিনিয়র কনসালটেন্ট, পরামর্শদাতা, রেডিয়েশন অনকোলজি, বলেন,” এই অনুষ্ঠানের লক্ষ্য হল ক্যান্সারের বিরুদ্ধে সচেতনতা গড়ে তোলা সাধারণ মানুষের মধ্যে। পরিস্থিতির গুরুত্ব অনুধাবন করা এবং স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবার ক্ষেত্রে যে গ্যাপ রয়েছে, সেটি কমিয়ে আমার ক্ষেত্রে মেডিকা অনকোলজি টিম একাধিক ইতিবাচক পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে। আমরা জানি যে ক্যান্সারের গভীরতা এবং ক্ষতি করার দিকটি অনেক বেশি কারণ অনেক সময় দেরিতে ধরা পড়ে এবং সচেতনতা কম ও সামাজিক ভাবনা পিছিয়ে পড়া অনেকটা দায়ী। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি যে ক্যান্সারের ক্ষেত্রে কোন সীমানা নেই আর আমাদের লক্ষ্য হল যে গুণগতমান সহ চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা সমস্ত দিকে পৌঁছে দেওয়া।”

ডঃ সৌরভ দত্ত, ডিরেক্টর, মেডিকা অনকোলজি এবং সিনিয়র কনসালটেন্ট, হেড এবং নেক অনকোসার্জারি, বলেন,” আমাদের লক্ষ্য শুধু চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা দেওয়া নয়, মানুষকে স্বাভাবিক জীবন যাপন করার জায়গায় পৌঁছে দেওয়া। এমন একটা জায়গায়, যেখানে পরিস্থিতি যাই হোক না কেন, জীবনের প্রতিটি দিক যেন উপভোগ করতে পারেন আর এটাই আমাদের মূল লক্ষ্য। এই কারণেই আমরা একটি ড্রামা ওয়ার্কশপ আয়োজন করার কথা ভেবেছি, যেখানে শুধুমাত্র যারা

ক্যানসারকে পরাস্ত করেছেন তারা যোগদান করতে পারবেন। এটি শুধুমাত্র তাদের মনোবল বাড়াবে নয়, তার সাথে সমস্ত ক্যান্সারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াইতে থাকা মানুষেরা ইতিবাচক বার্তা পাবেন যে ক্যান্সার জীবনের কিছুই আটকাতে পারেনি।”

বৈশালী মুখার্জি, একজন ওভারিয়ান ক্যানসার সারভাইভার, বললেন, “পাঁচ বছর আগে, আমার ওভারিয়ান ক্যানসার ধরা পড়ে—একটি মুহূর্ত যা আমার জীবন পুরোপুরি ওলটপালট করে দিয়েছিল। আমি কখনো ভাবিনি যে স্বাভাবিক জীবন যাপন করতে পারব। চিকিৎসার পথ ছিল কঠিন, কিন্তু আজ আমি সম্পূর্ণ সুস্থ, বিবাহিত এবং একটি সুন্দর সন্তানের মা। আজ, মেডিকায় আমার প্রথম কর্মদিবস সম্পন্ন করার মাধ্যমে, যেখানে আমার সুস্থতার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অধ্যায় রচিত হয়েছিল, জীবন যেন এক পূর্ণ বৃত্ত সম্পন্ন করল। আমি এই সুযোগের জন্য কৃতজ্ঞ এবং আশা করি, আমার গল্প অন্যদের অনুপ্রাণিত করবে কখনো হাল না ছাড়তে।”

এই অনুষ্ঠানে, দীপঙ্কর সাহা, কিডনি ক্যান্সারের রোগী তার জীবন কাহিনী বলতে গিয়ে জানান,”আমার কিডনির ক্যান্সার ধরা পড়েছিল। আমার রেডিক্যাল নেফ্রেক্টমী হয় (এই পদ্ধতিতে পুরো কিডনি এবং তার টিস্যু বাদ দেওয়া হয়) এবং বর্তমানে আমি বিপদ থেকে মুক্ত। এটা ঠিক যে ক্যান্সারের জন্য শরীর থেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অঙ্গ বাদ গিয়েছে, কিন্তু আমার লড়াই করার ক্ষমতা ছিনিয়ে নিতে পারেনি। আজকে আমি আগের চেয়ে অনেক ভালো রয়েছি এবং সুস্থ জীবনযাপন করছি। আমি মেডিকা সুপার স্পেশালিটি হসপিটালের সমস্ত ডাক্তার ও কেয়ারগিভারের কাছে খুব কৃতজ্ঞ।”

শিবনাথ দত্ত, প্রোস্টেট ক্যান্সারের রোগী, বলেন,” আমি কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের হেলথ স্কিমের কর্মচারী। ভেবেছিলাম অবসরের পর জীবন শান্তিতে কাটাব। ক্যান্সারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই আমার সহজ নয়। এখন হরমোন থেরাপি চলছে আমার, রোগ এখন অনেকটাই কব্জায় রয়েছে। পরিবারের সাথে আমি এখন জীবনের প্রতিটি দিন উপভোগ করছি।

দক্ষিণ চব্বিশ পরগনার হরিনাভিতে বসবাসকারী রাখী ভট্টাচার্য, যিনি পেশায় একজন গায়িকা এবং গৃহবধূ, বলেন,” অ্যাড্রিনাল টিউমারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করতে করতে আজ সম্পূর্ণ রোগ নিরাময়, আমার জীবনে কমবেশি চ্যালেঞ্জ এসেছে। মেডিকা ক্যান্সার হসপিটালের এক্সপার্ট কেয়ার পেতে আমি আমার সুস্থতা ফিরে পেয়েছি এবং সুর, যা আমার জীবনের অন্যতম ভালবাসার – এখন পরিপূর্ণ জীবন কাটাচ্ছি।”

কার্তিক চন্দ্র ঘোষ বলেন,” ব্লাডার ক্যান্সারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই সহজ ছিল না। যখন এটি ধরা পড়েছিল, তখন এটি প্যাথলজিক্যাল টিউমার পর্যায়ে ছিল। তবে মেডিকা অনকোলজি টিমের সাহায্যে ও সাপোর্ট পেয়ে আমি এখন ক্যান্সার ফ্রি। আমি বর্তমানে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পুলিশে কর্মরত রয়েছি এবং বাদ্যযন্ত্র বাজিয়ে খুব আনন্দ পাই – প্রতিটা দিন নতুন করে বাঁচছি আরো আশা আর কৃতজ্ঞতা নিয়ে।”

অয়নাভ দেবগুপ্ত, রিজিওনাল চিফ অপারেটিং অফিসার, মনিপাল হসপিটাল, পূর্ব, বলেন,” মানুষের মনের জোর যে কোন জিনিসের চেয়ে অনেক বেশি শক্তিশালী এবং তার ক্ষেত্রে যাই হোক না কেন, এই বিশেষত্ব থেকেই যায়। আমরা হাওয়ার গতিবেশ বদলাতে পারব না কিন্তু পাল ঠিক করতেই পারি। তাই যদি ক্যান্সার আক্রমণ করে, আমরা এটা যেন না ভাবি যে সব শেষ হয়ে গেল বা ক্যান্সার আক্রমণ আমরা আটকাতে পারব। তবে আমরা ডাক্তারদের পরামর্শ নিতে পারি আর নতুন উদ্ভাবন আর প্রযুক্তির সাহায্য নিয়ে ও ক্লিনিক্যাল প্রোটোকল নিয়ে কিভাবে রোগের চিকিৎসা করতে পারি। এই বছরের কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের অর্থ বাজেটে পরের তিন বছরের মধ্যে প্রতিটি জেলা হাসপাতালে ডে কেয়ার ক্যান্সার সেন্টার গড়ে তোলার যে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে, সেটা আমাদের অনেক আশা ও সাহস জুগিয়েছে। এছাড়া আমরা কিছুটা আশ্বস্ত হয়েছি। আশা হারালে চলবে না, বরং ক্যান্সারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করতে হবে।”

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি : আজ মঙ্গল বার আন্তর্জাতিক কলকাতা বইমেলার অষ্টম দিনে সন্ধ্যা প্রকাশনের পক্ষ থেকে এক গুচ্ছ নতুন লেখকদের সাহিত্যের বই প্রকাশিত হলো।এদিন বই এর মোড়ক উন্মোচন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রখ্যাত ভাষাবিদ ও শিক্ষাবিদ পবিত্র সরকার,আইপিএস লেখক নজরুল ইসলাম,সাহিত্যিক নলিনী বেরা,শিশু সাহিত্যিক ও সম্পাদক চুমকি চট্টোপাধ্যায়,কবি সুস্মেলি দত্ত সহ বিশিষ্ট অতিথিরা।

সন্ধ্যা প্রকাশন এর পক্ষে যে সব কবি লেখকের বই আজ প্রকাশিত হলো,তাঁদের মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য বই লেখক তাপস মিশ্রর লেখা দুটি বই ‘ ফারেশা খাতুন ‘ ও “আকাঙ্ক্ষা জেগে আছে”,এছাড়া প্রবীণ নাগরিকদের একাকীত্বের জীবনে কিভাবে হতাশা কাটানো যায় সেই নিয়ে একটি ইংরেজি বই লেখেন ডাক্তার কয়েলি দত্ত ,মিলি ভট্টাচার্যের তারাদের কথা,বিশিষ্ট সাংবাদিক গৌতম ভ্রম্ভ এর লেখা কবিরাজ কথা,সংবাদিক জয়জ্যোতি ঘোষের ক্রিকেট বিষয়ক বই ‘ ‘ নস্টালজিয়া এবং ক্রিকেটীয় রোমান্স ‘ ,এছাড়াও এক আইপিএস পুলিশ কর্তার লেখা একটি জনপ্রিয় বই ‘ ৫ মেশলি ‘ প্রকাশিত হয়। এদিন প্রায় নতুন লেখকদের ২৫ টি বই সন্ধ্যা প্রকাশন থেকে প্রকাশিত হয়। সংস্থার কর্ণধার শংকর দত্ত জানান, তাঁরা সব সময়ই নতুনদের বই প্রকাশ করে তাঁদের পাঠকের সামনে তুলে ধরতে চান। তিনি এও জানান নতুনদের যদি উৎসাহিত না করে কোনো প্রকাশক তবে তাঁদের আর পাঠক চিনবেন না। তাই কয়েকজন হাতে গোনা নামী লেখকদের পাশাপাশি নতুনদেরও আরও বেশি করে তুলে ধরা প্রয়োজন।

Kolkata, 27 January 2025: Shri Sanjeev Chopra (IAS), Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution (FPD), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India accompanied by Shri Santosh Sinha, Managing Director, Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Shri Vinod Tamori, General Manager (Rail Operations) and team CWC visited Braithwaite & Co. Limited (BCL) on 27th January 2025. The visit marked a significant step towards fostering collaboration between the two organizations to enhance India’s logistics and manufacturing capabilities. Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma, Executive Director, QA (Mechanical), RDSO-Kolkata was also present during the visit of Shri Sanjeev Chopra (IAS), Secretary (FPD).

Md. Asad Alam, Chairman and Managing Director along with Shri Sanjeev Rastogi, Director (Production), Shri R. Veerabahu, Director (Finance), Shri A. K. Shahi, Chief Works Manager and senior officials of BCL warmly welcomed the dignitaries. During the visit, Shri Sanjeev Chopra inspected 40 Ft. Open Top High Cube Container for Transportation of Steel Coil, 20 Ft. High Cube Central Side Access End Open Dry Cargo Container and BLSS Wagon (25T Spine Car) manufactured for Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC). He also reviewed other wagons and containers being manufactured in Kolkata Works of BCL.

The first rake of BLSS Wagons (Spine Cars) for CWC was flagged off in his presence. BLSS Wagon (Spine Cars) has been designed and developed by BCL. This wagon has been awarded ‘Best Innovative Product Solution of the Year-2024’ in Manufacturing and MSME Conclave organized by ASSOCHAM.

‘ইণ্ডিয়ান ফিল্ম মেকার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন’-এর জাতীয় অধ্যক্ষ দিলীপকুমার এইচ আর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা তথা মহাসচিব পুলাগন রামচন্দ্র রেড্ডী আজ কোলকাতার ই এম বাইপাস সংলগ্ন এক রেস্তরাঁয় উপস্থিত হয়ে এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে বাদল সরকার-কে সংস্থার পশ্চিমবঙ্গ শাখার অধ্যক্ষ রূপে নিয়োগপত্র দিয়ে গেলেন।
