Tripura has transitioned massively in the last decade.
Until 2018, Tripura, the stronghold of the Left, which no one could pierce for 25 years, was dismantled with the slogan of ‘Chalo Paltai’ by the magical duo of Modi and Shah. Where the BJP’s position was zero, there too the duo of Modi and Shah has journeyed to the peak. Shopizen Bangla is proud to be associated with the launching of two novels written by Mr Koushik Das. The books are Shaktirupeno (শক্তিরূপেণ) and Devil’s Lair (English version of the Bengali novel শয়তানের মা, translated by Mr. Arindam Basu).

The books, published by Shopizen Bangla, were launched at the Kolkata Press Club on 9th April, 2024 in the presence of former Ranji champion Bengal captain, Mr Sambaran Banerjee, Ex-Sports Editor of Anandabazar Patrika and eminent writer Mr Rupak Saha and Anti-Trafficking activist Ms Pallabi Ghosh.

Sambaran, who was also a national selector, recounted the dark saga of match-fixing during the early 2000 and how the Indian team foughtback against the dreaded evil.

Pallabi is a crusader who has been fighting a war against human trafficking for the last 20 years. Pallabi and her organisation Impact and Dialogue Foundation is fighting a very tough battle.
